Arjun Dube is a drummer, producer, and engineer who has been making a name for himself in the Philadelphia music scene and beyond. He is well known for his infectious rhythmic timing, versatility playing all genres, and his advanced abilities in the recording studio. In 2022, he notably joined globally renowned electronic artist French Kiwi Juice on a multi-continent worldwide series of tours, playing drums and overseeing a wide breadth of samples to precisely match the artist's iconic sound palette.

First stepping on the drum kit at the age of 10, Arjun has always strived to define his own sound. In his hometown of Holmdel, NJ, Arjun discovered a passion for jazz early on. He went on to play drums in Music For All's Jazz Band of America in 2011, winning the chair over a national pool of applicants. That same year, he was also featured in Downbeat Magazine as a soloist winner in the Student Music Awards.

Arjun graduated from Princeton in 2015 with a B.A. in History and a certificate in Jazz Studies, where he wrote his senior thesis on the ‘40s wartime relationship between the American Federation of Musicians union and the burgeoning record industry, and its lasting effect on radio and royalty payments. During this time, he also developed a lifelong love of radio broadcasting, frequently hosting shows and recording bands at WPRB on campus.

Arjun moved to Philadelphia in 2015 and co-founded the alternative jazz group Trap Rabbit with keyboardist Logan Roth. The group garnered numerous accolades for their early sound, which was often focused on their locked-in live performance combining elements of jazz and math rock. Since then, Trap Rabbit has released over 9 records and dived heavily into incorporating the recording studio as an additional instrument. Inspired by artists such as Sven Wunder and Stereolab, Trap Rabbit charted a path towards sonic and compositional perfection, resulting in a series of well-received recordings featuring strings, harps, synthesizers, and vocalists. Their most popular track, "This Was Once Out Of Shape," was written with Maxfield Gast and has garnered over half a million streams on Spotify.

Since returning from worldwide touring, Arjun has been splitting his time between Philadelphia and his hometown in New Jersey, focusing on remote recording, engineering, production, and local touring.

Arjun's many credits include: French Kiwi Juice, Kuf Knotz & Christine Elise, Kyle Sparkman, Eric Bazilian, Trap Rabbit, Mitamu, Keegan Tawa, Carrom Board, Schoolly D, and more.
